This guide explains how to upgrade your DIRECTV Stream package online. You can change your base package, add premium channels, include streaming services, or activate sports and international packages directly from your account.

Step by Step Instructions
Step 1
Open Account Overview
Once logged into your DIRECTV account, click Account Overview in the top navigation menu.
Access Your Account Settings From Streaming Screen 
If you are using the DIRECTV website or mobile app, click the icon with your initial in the top right corner and select Account from the menu. This will take you to your account overview and settings.
Step 3
Open TV Package Settings
Inside your account dashboard, click TV Package to manage your current programming and available upgrades.
As you scroll down this page you will see several upgrade options including: Base Packages, Premium Channels, Streaming Services, Sports Packages, and International Packages.
Compare Available Packages
Click Compare Packages to review available DIRECTV channel packages and see the differences in channels and pricing.
Add Premium Channels
Choose premium networks such as Max, Cinemax, STARZ, Paramount+ with SHOWTIME, and MGM+. Click Add on any option to include it in your subscription.
Add Streaming Services
You can also add popular streaming services such as Apple TV+, Netflix, and Peacock Premium directly to your DIRECTV account. Click Add next to any service you want to include.
Add Sports Packages
Upgrade your sports coverage by adding packages like DIRECTV Sports Pack or NBA League Pass Premium to watch more live games and exclusive sports content.
Add International Channel Packages
DIRECTV also offers international programming packages including Deportes, Brazilian, Korean, Vietnamese, and Español. Click Add next to any package to activate it on your account.
