How to Log In and Start Streaming on DIRECTV

Log In and Stream on DIRECTV

Use this guide to sign in to your DIRECTV account, complete verification, and start streaming your content.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have your DIRECTV User ID, password, and access to your email or phone for 2 step verification.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Enter Your User ID

Type the email address or User ID associated with your DIRECTV account.

Step 2

Click Next

After entering your User ID, click Next to continue.

Step 3

Enter Your Password

Type your password to continue. If you do not remember it, click Forgot Password to reset it.

Step 4

Click Next Again

Once your password is entered, click Next to move to verification.

Step 5

Choose a Verification Method

Select how you want to receive your verification code. You can choose a text message to your phone number or an email sent to your email address.

Step 6

Continue to Verification

After choosing your preferred method, click Next.

Step 7

Enter the Verification Code

Enter the 1 time code sent to your email or phone number to complete verification.

Step 8

Click Next to Finish Login

Once the code is entered, click Next to access your account.

Step 9

Review the Top Navigation Bar

Once logged in, use the top navigation to access Account Overview or Watch Now. Under Account Overview, you can review payment methods, payment history, TV packages, add ons, account information, and more.

Step 10

Start Watching with Watch Now

Select Watch Now to access your available content, including movies, TV shows, live TV, and more.
