This step-by-step guide will walk you through the quick and easy setup of your TP-Link AC1200 Wi-Fi router. From unboxing to connecting your devices, you’ll be up and running in minutes. Follow along to get connected and enjoy a seamless internet experience!
Inside the box, you’ll find:
1 Dual-Band Wi-Fi Router
1 Ethernet Cable
Plug one end of the ethernet cable into the blue “WAN” port on your router.
Insert the power cable into the round power input on your router.
Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet, and connect the other end of the ethernet cable to the wall port.
Locate the power button near the power input and press it to turn on the router.
Allow up to 5 minutes for the router to start. The lights on the front will turn green when it’s ready.
Your router is now ready. On the back of the device, you’ll find two Wi-Fi names (SSIDs): one for 5G and one for standard Wi-Fi. Please use only the standard Wi-Fi SSID and ignore the 5G SSID for this setup.
In the reference image below, the correct Wi-Fi name (SSID) is circled in orange, and the password is circled in purple. Use these to connect your device to the internet.
