How to Set Up Your DIRECTV Gemini Device
This guide walks you through setting up your DIRECTV Gemini device from the box so you can start watching TV right away.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have your TV, internet connection, and DIRECTV account login ready before starting setup.

Step by Step Setup
Step 1 – Unbox your Gemini device
Inside the box you will find the Gemini device, remote control, power adapter, and HDMI cable.
Step 2 – Connect the HDMI cable
Plug one end of the HDMI cable into the Gemini device and the other end into an available HDMI port on your TV.
Step 3 – Connect power
Plug the power adapter into the Gemini device and connect it to an electrical outlet.
Step 4 – Turn on your TV
Turn on your TV and select the HDMI input connected to the Gemini device.
Step 5 – Pair the remote
Follow the on screen instructions to pair your remote with the Gemini device.
Step 6 – Sign in to DIRECTV
Once the device is connected, sign in using your DIRECTV account to complete the setup.
You're Ready to Watch
After setup is complete, your Gemini device will load the DIRECTV interface and you can start watching live TV and apps.
